The EQP LED Alert Sensor is a simple, multi purpose sensor that monitors the LED status of a wide variety of industrial equipment. It can be powered by a USB cable or a wide range DC supply. A minimally invasive tap is applied to the machine’s LED signal. The sensor monitors the on/off state of the LED and sends alerts when the LED changes state. This can drive powerful business metrics such as equipment usage and frequency. It can also alert critical business failures such as equipment failure and required maintenance. For example, the sensor will alert when a coin change machine is out of coins and needs refilling.
